As an employer, when do I need to appoint a French representative for my French projects?
As soon as you intend to employ people on French territory and you yourself as an employer are not established in France, you must appoint a French representative prior to the employment.
He/she acts as a liaison between your company and the French authorities and can therefore assist you with inspections and offer you the necessary assistance with the declaration formalities, so that everything can go as smoothly as possible. It is important to master the French language and to be aware of French labour law at all times, which is the task of your French representative.
With many years of experience in exercising this mandate, A.VAT.S. is happy to help you with your French project from A to Z! A trilingual file manager is at your service. Ask for a free proposal of services.
We advice you to provide hard copies, for every employee working in France:
- copy of the receipt of the prior SIPSI declaration
- A1 certificate
- original professional card or 'carte BTP' (if applicable)
